Random Pictures + Revolt Update + Skinny Protein Brownies

It’s Thursday woohoo! How’s your week going? Mine is going pretty good but I am more than ready for the weekend. I am so excited that our best friend is coming in town from Illinois to stay with us for the weekend! I have no idea what we will be doing but we always have a great time when he is in town!

Pictures from the past couple of days…

-Dress my dad got me in Hawaii a couple of years ago.

- New shoes from the little girls section in Target! Why did I not know I could wear girl’s shoes?? I also recently bought a dress and jean jacket from the girls section there and let’s just say I am obsessed.

- Note that Stu left in my truck…”Ass eyes” is what Stu calls me. It is from one of my favorite movies ever and if you can tell me what it is I will seriously think you are the coolest person ever!! Anyone!?

- Love coming home to packages waiting for me on the front porch! Cannot wait to review all of this!!

So let’s talk Revolt. I almost done with week 3, and am definitely seeing some positive results. For one, my muscle strength has really improved. That is the number one thing that I have noticed so far. Last time I checked I had lost about 2 pounds, but honestly I just hate the scale and don’t think it really matters. The bottom line is I am stronger and my muscles are becoming more toned!

So far I have not skipped any of the workouts and completed every single one. This is huge for me! I am normally not good with sticking to plans, so I am pretty proud of that. As for the food- I have not done as great, but not terrible. I have still been eating mostly clean, but haven’t really stuck to the meal plan. My goal next week is to really stick to the plan and try and follow it exactly- We’ll see how that goes!

I’ve had a couple of questions on what the actual workouts are like, so I will go into that further soon! If you have any more questions about Revolt or on how to join let me know!

And since I am still on the skinny dessert train..Here is a brownie recipe that I came up with that is AWESOME!!

SkinnyProteinBrownies

Skinny Protein Brownies

- 3/4 C. plain greek yogurt

- 1/4 C. almond milk

- 1/2 C. sugar (or substitute)

-1/2 C. cocoa powder

- 1/2 C. protein powder (I used chocolate peanut butter)

- 1 egg

- 1 tsp. baking powder

- 1/4 C. oat flour

Frosting:

- 2 Tbs. protein powder (I used chocolate peanut butter)

- 1/2 C. plain greek yogurt

- 2 Tbs. peanut butter

- 2 Tbs. cocoa powder

- Preheat oven to 350

- For the brownies, combine all ingredients in a large bowl.

- Pour into greased 8×8 baking dish.

- Bake for about 25 minutes.

- For the frosting: In a small bowl combine all ingredients. Spread on top of warm brownies.

- Let completely cool and cut into bars!
